Bienvenido!
My name is Agnel and I am a problem-solver at heart, I thrive on making things better, smoother, and more efficient, whether it's optimizing manufacturing processes, assembling prototypes, or planning my next trip to chase breathtaking landscapes.
Passionate about cars, planes, and the future of manufacturing, I bring an engineer’s precision with an explorer’s curiosity.
Featured Work
GreenFleetTech: Smarter Aerodynamics, Lower Costs
A conceptual aerodynamic biomimetic film solution for electric semi-trucks that was conceived as a startup idea for the TE461 - Technology Entrepreneurship course at the University of Illinois.
High-Precision Micro & Nano Manufacturing - Fabrication
At the Micro-Nano Mechanical Systems Cleanroom in UIUC under the guidance of Prof. Joe Maduzia, I worked on High Numerical Aperture (NA) Photolithography and process improvements to increase wafer yield and efficiency for an environment ideal for semiconductor manufacturing.
Engineering & Simulating Thermal Solutions for Server CPUs
Developed a digital twin model of a heat sink system bio-mimicking a leaf’s fractal structure for ME598 - Electronics Cooling course. Using ANSYS Icepak, thermal performance of an AMD EPYC Server CPU was simulated and optimized to enhance cooling efficiency and reliability.
More Projects
The Aviation & Automobile Blogger
Developed a media blog that connects enthusiasts and industry leaders in aerospace and automotive.
Through in-depth features, high-quality photography, and industry collaborations, I’ve worked with global brands like Lufthansa Technik and Volvo India, fostering the growth of industry connections and field trips.
This venture blends my passion for engineering with storytelling, making complex technologies engaging and accessible to a wider audience.
Independent STEM Instructor
I believe that knowledge gains real value when shared. Through my independent STEM volunteering, I’ve delivered 200+ hours of hands-on workshops in UAV assembly, robotics, CAD, and Arduino, reaching over 500 students.
As I move forward, I’m committed to giving back to the world by fostering innovation, mentorship, and real-world problem-solving, ensuring the next generation is equipped to build a smarter, more sustainable future.
2019 MATE ROV Competition
At the 2019 MATE ROV Competition held in Kingsport, TN. I led the development of a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) designed for oceanic exploration, applying manufacturing engineering principles to build a high-performance underwater system.
Beyond engineering, I organized outreach activities that raised $1,500, engaging the community in STEM. This experience honed my skills in robotics, systems integration, and team leadership, reinforcing my passion for solving real-world challenges through innovative engineering.
